Azuki pants - wool

This post is mostly a show-and-tell!

I finished my next pair of Waffle Azuki work pants, with some nice beefy wool bought in the January excursion to Monreal. Took me a week or more to get photos, though! For the record, I really like this pattern.

However, it is funny how they fit differently this time. I thought they would be more snug, given that the other two pairs were made with stretch wovens. Yet, these are a bit baggy (saggy?) for some reason. Maybe it is the wool kind of stretching with wear?! Anyway, beacuse they are black, I only noticed this sagging when looking at the photos in a better light! They are super comfy and I can fit long johns underneath, so a win.

I did the cargo pocket, I modified the size of the back pockets, (which are huge in their original iteration); I used the adjuster strp at the back.

I used some of my not-silk off-cuts for the pocket bags (photos of the inside below.)

I also used some of the Burda dress off-cuts for the inner waistband (less bulky), and I bound the edge instead of trying to fold it over (you can see that in the photo of the pocket bags).

I am also doing some work on my 'craft fair' project - meaning using off-cuts to make small projects to sell at a local craft fair next December. (At least, that is the hope!)

Finished a jewelry pouch yesterday: (Thanks to my Pattern Review friend  Moxie Carol for sharing how to make these!

I got the curtain hung up, and am also including a gratuitous photo of snow in front of the house during the snow storm!

But no progress on the Lekala jacket. I realized that I had made an error in sewing together the canvas for the shoulder pads, and had two left shoulder pads. So I need to do some work there. I am SO CLOSE!
