I bought this lovely fabric in Montreal, and I was told it was wool - cashmere, in fact. And I have no reason not to believe it, but like to check.
I have filmed a burn test, because I am not sure how to interpret it! Obviously you can't smell it, but it had only a mild odour of ... possibly burning hair.
Would love to have your thoughts...

Burning hair is usually a characteristic of wool. Wool tends to be self-extinguishing, i wonder if there was also an odor of burning wood. This might have some rayon or cotton in it.
